There is a question on the PSM I assessment concerning the relative sizes of items in Product and Sprint backlog. I feel Sprint Backlog items should be smaller because:
1) Product Backlog can be refined to a certain degree, but the Sprint backlog items should be explicitely detailed to a low level so that it is understandable by both PO and the Development Team
2) Sprint Backlog are decomposed into developable tasks so the story can be effectively developed by the team. Therefore, a task should be sub set of a story and small in size compared to sprint backlog item.
What do you think?
