I am a passionate Agile Coach who loves helping individuals and teams become the best they can be. Systems and processes are important, and even more important, are the people. Over the years I have made the transition from a controlling solution hero, to a humble servant leader, helping teams and individuals identify their challenges, and to own and solve them. I am an accredited Kanban practitioner and Certified Scrum Professional. Currently I am working on achieving my Certified Scrum Coach Certification. I am currently a committee member of the Johannesburg chapter of the Scrum User Group of South Africa and runs an Agile Breakfast meet-up group in Sandton .
SUGSA is a non profit group working with the sanction of the Scrum Alliance to promote the use of Scrum. A committee of volunteers organise events for the community, as well as liaising with the Scrum Alliance to promote the user group and secure funding for events like Scrum Gatherings.

On a day to day basis I had overall responsibility for all IT functions within the business. Part of my role included prioritising and delivering projects in order to company strategic goals, by developing and aligning IT strategies. I have experience in using a wide range of methodologies in order to successfully deliver projects in challenging conditions. These include PRINCE 2, SCRUM, XP, SIX SIGMA.
Working on site for one of Dimension Data’s clients, SITA, I am responsible for managing a number of IT projects. Projects include New Application development, BI server implementation and initial reporting capa-bility, migration of web servers, internal application upgrade and migration, Development of an ICT Strategy and Maturity capability assessment. Currently using Prince II project management methodology to manage all projects that I am responsible for. I am also responsible for managing a number of SLA’s SITA has in place in terms of delivering ongoing support and software development. This includes discussing requirements with client and scheduling, managing and prioritising required changed.

Managed projects using a variety of methodologies from PRINCE2, SCRUM and SIX SIGMA Managing day to day customer service and logistic operations to ensure customer expectations are delivered.
