I am working as Test and Release Manager for iOS projects. I worked closely with Solution Architects, Development team and DevOps to define the discipline of testing and releases across projects. I have managed many releases and different type of testing phases. I have optimised the SPLUNK reports to get the realtime updated reports for the management. I have automated iOS and ESB application's continuous build and deploy process using GIT, Maven and Jenkins. I have developed common Automation Framework across the projects using Appium and WebDriver, on which you can execute your test scripts on iOS simulator, Android simulator or Browser. Client: Leading Credit Rating Company, UK (Mar ‘10 – Jun ‘11) Role: Iteration Mgr/ QA Lead Deal Analyzer is an Integration project which integrates five different components using webservices.This project involves integrating Assumptions via web services, executing the credit and cash flow engines (C++) on the grid using the assumptions and data , storing the outs on the DB and generating reports for the user. We have used QTP is Web automation tool and Java/Axis framework to test the webservices. Client: Leading Credit Rating Company, UK (May ‘09 – Feb ‘10) Role: QA Lead Web Covered Bond Monitor application is a service-based solution for storing and accessing analytical summary average and detail results of projection scenarios. The existing desktop application uses a Microsoft Excel to display input data and execute analytical C++ module to simulate and produce various results in XML format to be analyzed further.
Client: Leading 529 Plan provider and also involved in Loyalty business, USA (May 2004-Nov 2005) I was involved as QA lead from Bangalore for a US based Loyalty business application. It’s a Web based application developed by JAVA and the Web servers were Websphere.
Client: Simon and Schuster, New York, USA (Jul ‘08 – Feb ‘09) Role: QA Lead This project has been designed to enable customers to browse books and authors details. This application also provide features like Webpage sharing, Books cum authors search, video search, buy online, news letter subscription, RSS feed etc.
Client: Major Retailer- UK (May ‘13- Till date)? Role: Project Manager / Lead QA I worked as a Project Manager and Lead QA for a retail project that included the development of Electronic Order Pad. The project involves enhancing the existing feature, performance improvement and rollout the Electronic Order pad to all of its stores. I led the team by managing the development, testing of the Orderpad and Roll out Plan of the device in stores. The technical side included Java, Oracle, HTML5, CoffeeScript, SASS, XMPP, continuous delivery and integration with proprietary hardware. Client: Entertainment & Media (Jan ‘13 – Apr ‘13) Role: QA Lead I worked as a QA Lead for this Chess tournament (World champion 2013) project that included the development of a new mobile application for viewing chess games and tournaments. I worked closely with Integration Chess Grand Masters and defined the Functional and testing strategies. I helped the team by testing chess engine integration, deployment and testing strategies. The project was executed following agile principles including fast feedback cycles for the customer and deploying from day one with going live after three months of development. The technical side included Ruby, MongoDB, Android, HTML5, CoffeeScript, SASS, XMPP, continuous delivery and integration with proprietary hardware. I used Cucumber, Watir-Webdriver and Calabash as a test tools on this project.
Client: Westpac Bank ,Australia (Feb 2008 – June 2008) This project has been designed to enable customers of a major Australian bank to feel more secure on their fund transfer by adding “One Time Password (OTP)“ feature. This Portal interacts with 76 internal systems and 25 different applications. Client: Westpac Bank ,Australia (Jan 2007 – Dec 2007) This project has been designed to enable customers of a major Australian bank to apply for and manage their superannuation accounts through an online. The application had a Java web front end and utilized Tibco as its middle tier to communicate with other systems in the bank for data retrieval, transaction processing and storage.
Client: Leading Job search Web site, USA (Jan 2000 - Aug 2000)? I worked in a Crawler module of search engine, in which involved converting the existing PERL codes to C++for the portion of extractor module.
Client: Rail car leasing Company, NJ, USA (December 2005 - Dec 2006) The project involved building a fleet management application for the rail car leasing division of a commercial lending and leasing major in the US market. The application was built on a .NET framework utilizing SQL Server as the database and interfaced with the legacy database to keep both systems synchronized.
Client: Publishing Company – UK (Jan 2012 – Dec 2012)? Client was the world’s largest information provider to the chemical and oil industry. However with editorial staff spread globally entering pricing data into disparate legacy applications, the existing systems were acting as a drag on productivity and innovation. The project was completely rewriting the legacy system with the latest technology. As a Lead QA, I delivered a highly intuitive, simple to use replacement application that allowed the editors to far more easily develop accurate, timely and consumable reports. The technologies used are .Net , Specflow, Webdriver with easily maintainable Page Object model automation framework. The role also involved coaching a client QAs. Client: Publishing Company – UK (Aug 2011 – Dec 2011) I, as a Lead QA, was responsible for the delivery of a centralised Access and Entitlement (A&E) system for an online publishing company. The delivery works involved RESTful Web Service development and close collaboration with another delivery team that were consuming the web service. Constant prioritisation was needed to ensure that the system was not a bottleneck for the consuming application and also that it did not get too far ahead.
