I am working as a program manager for a new product development. This product is primarily developed to deploy & sold for cloud. This is all together new cloud, SOA and SaaS based product. There are many technical and functional projects within this program. There will infrastructure upgrades related to cloud deployment like new application server replacement, new workflow replacement, new multi tenant database, new caching, authentication, authorization, security products. There will be a new HTML 5 based UI. New integration hub/framework for all external world communication, API Management/framework for communicating between all services from different products within this program and external world. New SOA based architecture is a completely loosely coupled architecture. My responsibilities in Falcon are: - I am doing all the planning and scheduling based of these multiple projects from Noida location - I have to make sure that each of the planned activities is running on time as per the planned schedule and scope - I have to monitor and track each project based one the agreed metrics & milestones - Working very closely with Development Managers, QA Managers, Product Owners and Enterprise Architects & Sr. Leadership - Proactively measuring and tracking all the metrics and check the schedule against the capacity whether as a team we can meet the schedule and appropriate goals; raising appropriate risks and issues well ahead of time and act accordingly. - Communicating the overall status of the development to the sr. leadership I am also working as an Agile Coach at the organizational level.
