Ericsson Modem Product Development Coached the Swedish part of an world wide agile transformation project, involving two European, one Chinese and one Indian site, all together more than 70 cross-functional teams. The co-located 16 Swedish teams (120 individuals) were being trained and coached in establishing trust, managing conflict, backlog refinement, Scrum and Kanban. Team maturity was evaluated in accordance with an agreed assessment. Coaching took all teams to level 3 - 4 of a 5 grade maturity scale.
Acted as lean and agile instructor and trained managers, agile coaches and scrum masters of the European organization, all together 10 individuals. The training covered, value stream mapping, delegation poker, release planning with user stories, product delivery with Scrum and product enhancement with Kanban.
TeliaSonera, Product and Process Development (1) I coached a product development team, i.e. implementing a customer insight/agile product development process. Starting with business model canvas, continuing with product vision, customer journey, story mapping and ending with a product backlog and a release plan. In addition, I also coached a requirements management and a project assessment team. This first part did also include lean/agile training, 15 times 4 hours and 250 trained individuals in Sweden and Finland. (2) The second part was to pilot the established customer insight/agile development process. I coached 3 scaled projects with multiple scrum teams, introduced the teams to agile techniques and led the agile ceremonies/workshops in initial sprints before handed-over to Scrum Master. This second part also included initiation of user stories, requirements mgmt tools and creation of bespoke visual/virtual boards.
Coached a scaled team set up consisting of +25 people divided in 4 teams. Analyzed the value stream, identified bottlenecks and introduced improvements, such as, user-centric requirements a.k.a. user stories, shorter release cycles. Introduced done criteria and an electronic backlog tool.
